Family/Domestic Mediation

Building bridges from our differences.

Understanding Family Mediation

Family mediation offers a structured process facilitated by a neutral third party, known as a mediator, to help individuals navigate conflicts and disputes within families. This collaborative approach aims to improve communication and empower participants to make informed decisions regarding various family-related matters, including finances, property, divorce, children, and parenting arrangements.

Our mediators are trained under the Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17 in Family Disputes. One of the key advantages of family mediation is its commitment to privacy and confidentiality, allowing families to address sensitive issues in a protected environment. Even in cases where complete resolution may not be achievable, mediation helps to mitigate the negative impact often associated with familial conflicts, fostering a more constructive path forward.

Trained under the Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17, our family mediation services cover a range of scenarios, including:

  • Couples navigating separation or divorce

  • Parenting matters, such as custody and maintenance arrangements

  • Resolving disputes related to inheritances

  • Addressing conflicts within family-owned businesses
