Understanding the Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP)
The Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP) is a valuable tool designed to assess conflict behaviors and triggers, aiding individuals and teams in enhancing their conflict management skills. By focusing on behaviors, the CDP helps users understand their responses to conflict, identify potential triggers, and learn strategies for effective conflict resolution.
The CDP-Individual is a self-assessment tool that provides users with insights into their conflict behavior and emotions. Through an online questionnaire, users receive an 8-page Feedback Report detailing their conflict responses and a comprehensive 40-page Development Guide. This assessment takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and offers valuable insights into individual conflict dynamics.
Feedback Reports are presented by trained CDP consultants in personalized one-on-one sessions. During these sessions, users receive guidance on interpreting their assessment results and utilizing the Development Guide to enhance conflict management skills and build stronger relationships.
The goal of the CDP assessment and feedback process is to empower users with self-awareness and knowledge to effectively navigate conflict situations. Each user receives a personalized Development Plan outlining strategies for improving conflict competence based on their unique profile.
